Forest Hills is located within the Nashville city limit and is bounded on the east by Hillsboro Pike and extends all the way west to Old Hickory Boulevard. Forest Hills is a stretch of acre-sized wooded lots characterized by scenic terrain and high prices. Immediately adjacent to Percy Warner Park and bisected by Richland and Otter Creek, Forest Hills is one of Nashville’s most historically significant communities. A number of homes in Forest Hills have recently been placed on the National Register of Historic Places. These include the McCrory-Mayfield House, a two-story log structure erected in 1798.
