Located less than 15 miles outside of Nashville, Antioch has become a Mecca of affordable housing. This once rural community, which is now home to the Nashville Zoo, is only minutes from downtown. Antioch also boasts deep roots in Tennessee’s rich history. It was the site of one of the state’s earliest churches, for instance. Founded in 1810, the Antioch First Baptist Church later became the namesake for the town itself. Antioch is conveniently connected to Nashville via Interstate I- 24, and features such amenities as Hickory Hollow Mall, a shopping center with over 150 specialty stores and convenient access to Percy Priest Lake.
